Health Literacy Training

Many adults in the UK lack the skills to understand information that is given to them, resulting in poor health outcomes, financial implications and wasted medication. Find out how you can help - by attending a Health Literacy Awareness session.

These one-hour interactive sessions held on Microsoft Teams give an indication of the issues facing those with poor health literacy. We look at the implications for the patient or service user, the department involved and the Trust as a whole.

To find why the language used is important, and how to check understanding, book onto one of these RSPH accredited sessions at https:// sfhcoursebooking.nnotts.nhs.uk/fulldetails.aspx?recid=691
