How to install Libkey Nomad

To install LibKey Nomad follow these steps:

Open the LibKey Nomad website from this link: https://thirdiron.com/downloadnomad/

Click on the button in orange “Get LibKey Nomad Now”.

This will move you down the screen to display a list of six popular internet browsers.  Select the browser that you are using from these choices.  If you use more than one browser or computer, you will need to repeat the process for each.

In the next screen click on the blue button containing the word Get in the top right of the screen.  In the popup box that appears click on “Add Extension”.

After a delay a LibKey Nomad pop up box will appear.  From the ‘Select Organisation’ drop down list choose “Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust”.  A message on a green background stating “Library Selection Saved” will appear.

This has completed the installation of LibKey Nomad.  Whenever the full text is available via an internet site a green ‘tear drop’ will be displayed in the bottom left of the screen together with words such as access options and download PDF.

If you have not already signed in with NHS OpenAthens you may be asked to do so when you try to download an article.  On occasions the full text may not be available, particularly for very recent articles.
