Health Information Week 2025


 

Health Information Week (HIW) 2025 will run from 20th - 26th January. HIW is a national, multi-sector campaign to promote high quality information for patients and the public.

The themes for 2025 are:

  • Monday 20 January - Winter Health
  • Tuesday 21 January - Mental Health
  • Wednesday 22 January - Wellbeing
  • Thursday 23 January - Health Literacy and Misinformation
  • Friday 24 January - Digital Literacy

 

Local Events

  • Nottingham Central Library is hosting a range of activities on Wednesday 22nd January from 10am - 2pm, including health MOTs, support using the NHS Account, dental health fun for under 5s and a gentle lunchtime walk along the canal. The Library is also offering short tours between 12 - 2pm. Further information can be found here.
  • Nottinghamshire libraries are hosting a wide range of activities throughout HIW. The full programme of events can be found here.
  • BBC Radio Nottingham is broadcasting its Breakfast Show live from Eastwood Library on Tuesday 21st January, 6 - 10am. Local residents are invited to come along for a hot drink, and share their positive experiences of life and community in the town. There will also be the opportunity to browse the wellbeing resources and view the new Health Hub with updated information and support.
